Gameboy
The Gameboy? is the most successful handheld console system ever sold on the market. Although it is technically far less advanced than the systems by Sega (Gamegear) or the Neo Geo Pocket it was the most successful one. The first generation Gameboy? was quite large and only had a black'n'white display. The second generation Gameboy? was a bit smaller and had a sharper dot-matrix display. Nowadays we have the third generation of the system being smaller, colored and having an infrared port for communication with other devices (primarily other Gameboys). Good news for hobby console coders is that you can get a great freeware development kit for the gameboy. Using the C language you can code almost professional games using an easy API.

Xbox
Xbox is a video game console from Microsoft. Technically Xbox is a legacy-free PC made by Microsoft. It has a 733MHz Celeron, normally running a stripped-down version of the Windows 2000kernel and runs only Microsoft-signed code by default.Because of this 'Microsoft-only protection' you will need a modchip to run Xbox Linux or other non-Microsoft signed software.

The Cartridge adaptor is in development and will allow connection to the EE-100 board from embeddedether.net. The ethernet cart is based on the work already done by some very talented people in the C=64 community. The Software is based on the Contiki and the RS-232 Atari Port already done by Christian Groessler. This port basically adds the CS8900A driver. Rate this link

- Serial mouse interface for Commodore - People involved in the C= world know that Commodore haven't planned mouse support for their 8-bit line when the machines first appeared in the market. When the C64 was introduced in 1982, Commodore still haven't cared about the mouse; they supported the rather obsolete paddles, besides the standard digital (Atari VCS type) joysticks. The mouse support came into consideration later, when GUI's, like GEOS were planned and introduced. This circuit interfaces a PC mouse to a Commodore C64 computer. The article has also lots of other useful mouse information. Rate this link
